Art Deco Platinum & Diamond Engagement Ring 1.55ct
A stunning platinum and diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This fabulous ring features a sing old European Cut diamond at the center held within a platinum double prong setting. The center diamond weighs approximately 1.55ct and has I color and VS2 clarity. The shoulders of the ring are detailed with 6 Single Cut diamonds which are bead set and together weigh approximately .06ctw with H-I range color and VS range clarity. The mounting of the ring has a royal appearance with a crown like prong setting and the sides of the ring are further enhanced by delicate milgrained detail. The ring was appraised in November 2013 by an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist and has a stated retail replacement value of $20,000.00. Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7.25, but could be easily re-sized. When worn, the diamond sits slightly less than 1/4" above the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum and all of the diamonds are intact.
