A magnificent pendant from the Early Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 15kt rosy yellow gold, this pendant is encrusted with approximately 1.25ctw of illuminating Rose Cut diamonds and an exquisite emerald. The pendant begins with a bezel set diamond atop a larger Rose Cut diamond in a lovely belcher setting. Eight diamonds line the flourishing setting, and a simple hidden bail readies the piece to be worn on a favorite chain. Below, a matching bezel-set diamond carries the gemstone design. The approximately 3.50ctw emerald teardrop displays a soft green hue and natural inclusions (typical and indicative of a natural beryl stone) as it rests in an open-backed collet setting. Its frame is adorned with 15 Rose Cut diamonds in closed-back settings, and the sides of the heart-shaped frame have an intriguing pronged detail to allow light to pass through the central stone. This one-of-a-kind pendant is an incredible example of Victorian-era artistry, and would look phenomenal worn on special occasions!

Measurements: The pendant hangs about 1 5/8" long, about 3/4" wide, and is 3/8" at its deepest points.

Condition: The pendant is in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set. The emerald displays natural inclusions which are typical of a natural stone.  The emerald is securely set. The bails are secure and in good working condition.
