Early Victorian 15kt/Sterling Diamond, Emerald + Pearl Pendant

SKU: 41554

An exceptional diamond, pearl and emerald pendant from the Early Victorian (ca1850) era! Crafted in 15kt rose gold with sterling silver accents, this piece exhibits incredible ornate details, featuring diamonds, pearls and a single emerald. The asymmetrical pendant, which is fairly large in size, adorns several old Rose Cut diamonds, which are all closed back and vary in size and color. A large sparkling diamond rests at the center, surrounded by leaf-inspired shapes that curl upward and away from the center, and two natural seed pearls dangle from either side. Freely hanging from the bottom is a luscious natural emerald which has an ornate Rose Cut diamond topper and a third natural pearl dangling from the bottom. The round emerald displays gorgeous rich green hues which pair perfectly with the lustrous pearls and rosy gold setting. Prominent texturing can be found throughout the pendant, adding depth and a interesting touch to the unique piece. Finishing the design is a simple gold bail at the top, perfect for pairing with your favorite chain. A stunning pendant, it would make a wonderful addition to any collection!

Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 1 7/8" long (including the bail) and measures 3/4" wide at its widest and about 3/8" thick.

Condition: The overall condition of the piece is good. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and silver setting, and the pearls, diamonds and emerald stones are all intact. The bail is secure and in good working condition. Due to the hand cut nature of old Rose Cut diamonds, the shape of the stones do not have perfect symmetry. This reflects the age and genuine appearance of antique diamonds.
