Edwardian 14kt Mixed Metals Diamond Filigree Ring 0.10ct
A wonderful mixed metals diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This beautiful piece is made of platinum-topped 14kt yellow gold, and has a lovely two-tone appearance. Set at the center is a sparkling old Mine Cut diamond, which weighs approximately 0.10ct. The delicate diamond rests in the middle of an engraved box setting. A fine filigree wirework design covers the sides and edges of the mounting, adding beautiful flowing detail and shapely cutouts to the lovely design. Stamped inside the shank is a "14K" purity mark. This delicate and feminine ring could make a unique engagement piece, and would make a special addition to any vintage jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5.25, but could be re-sized. The square top surface of the ring measures 5/16" across, and rests 1/4" high when worn. The tapered band measures 1mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the mixed metals setting or filigree detail. The diamond is intact and securely set.
