Edwardian 14kt Two-Tone Star Sapphire + Diamond Cluster Ring
A beautiful, handmade star sapphire ring from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 14kt yellow and white gold, this lovely piece features a light blue star sapphire cabochon resting in the center. The stone is bezel set and encircled by fourteen sparkling Single Cut diamonds, each set in white gold, creating a two-tone cluster design. When turned in the light, the stone reveals alluring iridescent flashes at the center, forming the rays of star that appear as though lit from within. The iridescent quality is difficult to capture in a photograph, and is less noticeable in the images, making the star's rays the strongest when viewed in person. A simple gold band which is stamped "P14K" along the inside shank completes the look. This ring would be a wonderful addition to any sapphire lover's collection or could make for a unique engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring fits a finger size of 6 but could easily be resized. When worn, the ring sits nearly 3/8" above the finger.
Condition: The ring is in excellent overall condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the two-tone gold setting. Due to the handmade nature of the ring, the diamond cluster is not perfectly circular. This asymmetry is from crafting rather than damage and does not impact the overall beauty or integrity of the piece.
