Edwardian 15kt Moonstone, Rock Crystal + Seed Pearl Chain Necklace 30"
A wonderful moonstone and rock crystal necklace from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Beautiful in its simplicity, this 15kt rose gold piece is comprised of 4 moonstone cabochon and rock crystal links that are symmetrically placed throughout the chain. Each oval-shaped moonstone bead is split in the center and separated by a faceted rock crystal rondelle bead resting in the middle. The moonstones display a pearlescent faint blue color with a fantastic iridescent flash that looks incredible paired with the clear, light-catching rock crystal. Finishing the design are two delicate seed pearl beads that flank each gorgeous gemstone link. The interlocking chain fastens in the back at a spring ring clasp, but can easily be slipped on and off overhead and worn long or doubled up for a fabulous layered look. A perfect everyday piece, it would make a lovely addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The chain necklace measures approximately 30" long, and the gemstone links measure about 1/2" long, and 1/4" wide and thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the rose gold chain. All of the moonstone, rock crystal and seed pearl links are intact and securely set. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
