Edwardian 18kt Cushion Cut Diamond 3-Stone Ring 0.75ctw
A beautiful and unusual diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1915) era! Three sparkling diamonds line the front of the 18kt gold mounting. All of the diamonds are old Cushion Mine Cut stones, which have an approximate total carat weight of 0.75ctw, with estimated H-I color range, and VS clarity range. The front of the mounting has an open wirework design, which features three rows of gold "bars" that double as the prongs holding the diamonds in place. As the band nears the back, it tapers in slightly, and an "18CT" gold purity mark is stamped inside the shank. A lovely antique ring, its unique beauty would make it a perfect everyday piece!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.5, but could be easily resized if desired. The centerpiece where the diamonds are set rests approximately 1/8 above the finger when worn. The gold band measures 2mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. All three diamonds are intact and securely set.
