A unique and exquisite diamond bypass ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! Crafted in 18kt yellow gold topped with platinum, this piece features two old Mine Cut diamonds nestled together at the center, forming a stylish "Moi et Toi" ("You and Me") design. Each diamond is prong set in platinum and rests in a stunning crown style setting, sparkling brilliantly with every turn. Lining the center of the bypass style design are shimmering accent diamonds, that are bead set in a platinum setting. Together, both larger stones weigh approximately 1.60ctw, exhibiting I-J range color and VS clarity. Finishing the beautiful mixed metals design is a smoothly polished yellow gold band decorated with subtle grooved lines that wraps around the back. A gorgeous and romantic design, it could make a unique engagement ring, or a special addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6, but could easily be re-sized. The bypass design measures approximately 3/4" tall, 1/2" wide and rests about 1/8" above the finger when worn. The band measures approximately 1.5mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold and platinum setting. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
