A fabulous enameled ball pendant necklace from the Art Nouveau (ca1900s) era! This stylish piece is comprised of a vibrant enameled pendant which hangs from an ornate 14kt white gold chain. The striking fob pendant is crafted of sterling silver and 18kt yellow gold, and has a three-dimensional spherical shape. The entire surface of the piece is covered in a stunning, pale yellow enamel and a channel of sparkling old Rose Cut diamonds lines the pendant's equator, contrasting beautifully with the vibrant body. A final old Mine Cut diamond is bezel set at the very bottom of the pendant, perfectly completing the look. A gold bail stamped "18ct" attaches at the top and the orb-shaped piece dangles from the delicate extension of an ornate 14kt white gold chain. The chain has two spring ring clasps, one that fastens in the back, and the other which hangs from the end of the extension, allowing you to remove the pendant if desired. Both clasps are marked "14KT'. A special and very fashionable piece, it merges seamlessly into modern-day fashion and would complement any ensemble!

Measurements: The ball pendant hangs approximately 7/8" long including the bail and has a diameter of slightly more than 1/2". The white gold chain measures 25" in length with a 3.5" extension.

Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and silver setting, enameling, or diamonds, all of which are intact. The chain is in excellent condition and both spring-rings are in good working condition.
