Edwardian Diamond & Sapphire Filigree Ring 2.06ct
A stunning diamond and sapphire engagement ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This gorgeous piece is made of platinum and has a stunning old European Cut diamond at its center. The diamond is bezel set and weighs approximately 2.06ctw with J color and VS1 clarity. The center diamond is set amidst a vibrant border of 19 calibrated French Cut sapphires that weigh approximately 1.05ctw. The diamond and sapphires are accented with fine milgraining and rest atop a beautiful filigree wirework mounting. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified gemologist in November 2014, and has a stated retail replacement value of $28,000.00. Also accompanying the ring is a Diamond Grading Report issued by GIA (Gemological Institute of America) in October 2014, which confirms the diamond's stated characteristics. It's a gorgeous ring and would look perfect worn everyday or could make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The round face of the ring measures 1/2" tall and wide. The ring has a finger size 6.25 but could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and all of the sapphires and diamonds are intact.
