Edwardian Large Platinum & Diamond Bow Pin
A dazzling diamond bow pin from the Edwardian era (ca1910)! This gorgeous piece is made of platinum and has a detailed 3-dimensional bow design. Lacy filigree cutouts, delicate wirework, and fine milgrain detail cover the front of the piece, which is adorned with sparkling Old European cut diamonds throughout. Each stone is bead set, and the diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of 1.00ctw combined. The bow has a very realistic design, including a knotted center, folded edges, and ends that curl slightly inwards at the tips. On the back of the pin is a long gold pin clasp, allowing it to be securely fastened to a favorite garment. A very special piece, this pin is perfect for special occasions and would make an exquisite addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pin measures approximately 2 3/8" wide, 7/8" tall, and 3/16" thick. The overall pennyweight of the piece is 7.2 dwt.
Condition: The overall condition of the pin is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or diamonds, all of which are intact. The gold bar pin and clasp are secure and in good working condition.
