Edwardian Large Platinum & Diamond Pendant 3.85ctw
An incredibly stunning platinum and diamond filigree pendant from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This fabulous pendant is made of platinum and particularly large in size. Covered in feminine, filigree wirework, the pendant has a wonderful ornate design, which is detailed in flowing lacy crown-shaped accents and scrolled cutouts. In the center of the pendant lies a bezel-set, old European Cut diamond. The diamond weighs approximately 0.50ct and the total overall weight of the pendant is 3.85ctw. Surrounding the center diamond and bordering the entire piece are old Mine Cut diamonds which complete the look perfectly. The pendant hangs, from a simple bail, perfect for hanging from a fine chain. The special piece looks beautiful on and would look fabulous worn everyday or for a special occasion!
Measurement: The diamond pendant hangs 2 1/8" long, is 1 3/4" at its widest point and is less than 1/8" thick. The interior of the bail measures 1/8” tall.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and all of the diamonds are intact.
