Edwardian Platinum Diamond + Pearl Chain Necklace 29.5"
A gorgeous diamond and pearl necklace from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! Crafted in platinum, this stunning piece is comprised of an alternating pattern of natural pearls and diamonds which vary slightly in size, each separated by sections of delicate chain. The sparkling diamonds are bezel set within a smooth eyeglass setting, catching the light beautifully with every turn. The natural pearls display a beautiful, rich color and a high luster surface, perfectly complimenting the platinum setting. The necklace fastens securely at the back with a spring ring clasp and due to the length can slip on and off easily overhead. Beautiful and feminine, it would make a wonderful piece to wear everyday or for special occasions!
Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 29.5" in length. The pearl and diamond links vary slightly in size, but measure about 2mm each on average.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum chain. All of the diamonds and pearl are intact and securely set. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
