A gorgeous pair of earrings from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in platinum, these stunning earrings begin with a Round Cut diamond within a bezel setting, secured to the ear with a lever-back wire. Suspended from the bezel-set surmount is another smaller Round Cut diamond set in a milgrain bezel, and then finally a larger, approximately 1.0ctw round old european cut diamond on each earring. The largest stones are set in a widened four-prong setting with an airline and open back, allowing plenty of light to shine through and highlight the diamonds natural fire. The total carat weight of the earrings is estimated at 2.20ctw, with G/H range color, VS-SI1 range clarity. These eye-catching earrings frame the face beautifully and would be a phenomenal addition to any collection!
Measurements: The earrings hang approximately 3/4" in length and approximately 1/4" at their widest point.
Condition: The earrings are in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set. The wires are in good working condition.
