Edwardian Platinum Diamond Flower Stud Earrings 0.80ctw centers
A stunning pair of diamond flower studs from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! Each earring is crafted in platinum and displays a sparkling diamond encrusted design. The 3-dimensional flowers have five curved petals, each one set with a gorgeous old Rose Cut accent diamond surrounding by delicate beadwork. Adorning the center of each stud is a sparkling old European Cut diamond weighing approximately 0.80ctw combined, sparkling brilliantly in the light with every turn. The reverse side reveals a simple post and a white gold earring back, stamped with a "585" gold purity mark. Beautiful and feminine, they are a lovely everyday accessory and would add a wonderful sparkle to any ensemble!
Measurements: Each earring measures approximately 1/2" in diameter and is slightly more than 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set. The posts and earring backs are secure and in good working condition. Due to the hand cut nature of old Rose Cut diamonds, the shape of the stones do not have perfect symmetry. This reflects the age and genuine appearance of antique diamonds.
