Edwardian Platinum Sapphire & Diamond Ring 3.00ct

A breathtaking sapphire and diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This gorgeous ring features an estimated 3.00ctw. sapphire at the center of a beautiful platinum and diamond mounting within a milgrained bezel. Surrounding the sapphire is a halo of 12 bead set Old Mine Cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.5ctw with an H-I range color and SI2 clarity. The halo setting has a thin yellow gold band around it, adding a nice design element to this piece! On the underside of the mounting is an etched scrolling design, and more foliate style engraving can be found stretching down the shoulders of the ring. A beautiful design, it would look perfect worn on special occasions, or could make a unique gemstone engagement ring!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.25 but could be easily be re-sized up or down. The sapphire and diamond centerpiece measures 3/4" tall, 1/2" wide, and 1/4" thick.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. The sapphire stone and all of the diamonds are intact.
