A unique pair of earrings from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in platinum with a sterling silver dangle, the earrings begin with a simple earring wire. Nineteen Full Cut diamonds glitter in each earring as they adorn the hinged setting comprised of rectangular and ribbon-like links, dangling with lovely motion. Four French Cut sapphires add depth to the bottom link, and a sterling silver collet-set moonstone cabochon hangs below, swinging freely. The earrings frame the face elegantly, and would be a perfect addition to any Edwardian collection!
Measurements: The earrings hang approximately 2 1/2" in length including the earring wire and 11/32" at their widest point. The moonstone links measure about 11/16" tall, 13/32" wide, and an overall 1/4" deep accounting for the collet setting.
Condition: The earrings are in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum and sterling settings. All of the diamonds, sapphires, and moonstones are intact and securely set. The earring wires are secure and in good working condition.
