An interesting and unusual pair of Vintage ivory and onyx earrings from the 1950's! These unique earrings are made of ivory and onyx and have a simple yet bold design. Each earring features a large oval-shaped ivory base, which is flat on the back and rounded on the front. In the center of each earring is a raised, oval-shaped onyx stone which is framed by a 14kt yellow gold bezel. The back of each earring reveals a simple 14kt yellow gold post and a small plaque stamped "14K." Large gold-filled backs hold the earrings securely against the ear and are marked "1/20 14K GF." These fantastic earrings have an interesting look and make a unique statement piece! They would make a wonderful addition to the modern woman's jewelry collection.
Measurements: Each earring measures 1 1/8" tall, 7/8" wide and 3/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the ivory and onyx, or to the gold setting and posts. The gold filled backs are secure and in good working condition.
