Renowned Danish silversmith Georg Jensen was born in 1866. His training in metalsmithing and his education in the Fine Arts enabled him to develop a successful career based in beautiful jewelry and silver design. His signature Art Nouveau style grew increasingly popular and Jensen became a world renowned artist. Although Jensen died in 1935, his pieces are still being created today using the same craftsmanship as when he was alive.

This beautiful vintage set (ca1940s) is a wonderful example of Georg Jensen's craft! Crafted in sterling silver, the set features a tranquil dove motif designed by Kristian Moehl-Hansen for Georg Jensen (originally in 1904) throughout every piece along with beautiful bezel-set coral cabochons of varying sizes. This set includes one bracelet, one necklace, and one pair of clip-on earrings. The simple curvilinear shapes and nature-inspired motif exemplify Jensen's unique Mid-Century Modernist style. Stamped on the back of each piece's setting are several markings, including "925 S DENMARK" along with the Georg Jensen signature hallmark used in the mid 1940s, and the serial number for each piece. This set does come with a Georg Jensen gift box. This wonderful set by a beloved silversmith would make a lovely addition to any vintage jewelry collection!

Measurements: The earrings measure just under 1" in diameter. The bracelet measures approximately 7" long, 1" wide. The necklace measures approximately 16 3/4" long and 1" wide.

Condition: The overall condition of the set is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver settings. The coral is intact and securely set in each piece. The clasps are secure and in good working condition, and the safety catches on the bracelet and necklace are secure. The clips on the earrings are also secure.
