Renowned Danish silversmith Georg Jensen was born in 1866. His training in metalsmithing and his education in the Fine Arts enabled him to develop a successful career based in beautiful jewelry and silver design. His signature Art Nouveau style grew increasingly popular and Jensen became a world renowned artist. Although Jensen died in 1935, his pieces are still being created today using the same craftsmanship as when he was alive.

This Vintage pin from the 1960s is a wonderful example of Georg Jensen's signature style! This triangular shaped pin is crafted from one elongated piece of sterling silver to create a simple yet stunning design. An overlapping fold at the center provides a slight 3-dimensional appeal, allowing the light to reflect a lovely brightness from the smoothly polished surface. A simple bar pin and clasp is attached at the back, where Georg Jensen's hallmark is found along with the stamps, "H&H," "925 S" and "DENMARK." This wonderful piece by a beloved silversmith would make a lovely addition to any collection!

Measurements: The pin measures approximately 3" wide, 1" tall, and about 1/4" thick.

Condition: The overall condition of the pin is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting. The bar pin and clasp are intact and in good working condition.
