An outstanding diamond cluster ring from the Late Georgian (ca1830) era! This breathtaking piece is made of 12kt rose gold and features a gorgeous cluster of diamonds set within an elongated oval-shaped plaque. All of the diamonds are Holland Cuts, which are fancy cut old Rose Cut stones. A vertical row of larger stones forms the center of the design, and a halo of smaller stones create a sparkling border. In total, the diamonds have an approximate weight of 1.25ctw. The band is beautifully detailed with a swirled antique design at each shoulder and a filigree wirework mounting visible from the side. A wonderful and enchanting Georgian ring, it looks simply stunning when worn. It would make a magnificent addition to any collection, or a very unique and special engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7, but could be easily re-sized. The oval centerpiece measures 7/8" tall and 3/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the diamond stones are intact.
