A breathtaking ring from the Georgian (ca1790s) era! Crafted in 18k rosy yellow and white gold, this ring centers on an incredible blue enamel plate with three Rose Cut diamonds set in sterling in the middle. Surrounding the pin-set enamel plate is a halo of old rose cut diamonds the sparkle under every light. The total approximate carat weight of this ring is 40 points. Each shoulder is decorated with simple gold detail, and the ring is complete with a simple delicate shank. An absolutely stunning piece, this ring would be a wonderful addition to any Georgian collection or a unique engagement ring.
Measurements: The ring fits a finger size of 5.5 but can easily be resized. The navette shape measures 3/4" long and 3/8" wide.
Condition: The ring is in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. All of the Rose Cut diamonds are intact and securely set. There is a small 2mm spot of blue enamel missing from the ring that has been mended, but this is not visible when the ring is worn.
