A dramatic pair of Estate spinel earrings, wonderfully reminiscent of the Georgian era! These fabulous earrings are crafted in 14kt rose gold and sterling silver and each forms the shape of a feathered wing. With a left and right side, the earrings feature three curved rows that are lined with stunning, rose cut white spinels. The bead set stones rest in an open-back setting, which allows light to pass through creating a sparkling array that beautifully mimics the look of real diamonds. Fine milgrained details along every edge and fine cutouts perfectly complete their rich design. An earring post and hinged omega clip rest on the back, which is stamped "MEX" beside a maker's mark. These fantastic earrings curve up along the ear, making them a spectacular statement when worn and would be a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each earring measures approximately 1 1/8" wide, a little more than 1/2" tall, and 1/16" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling and gold setting. All of the spinels are intact and securely set and the earring posts and hinged omega clips are secure and in good working order.
