H. MORGAN Vintage Native American Sterling Turquoise Cuff Bracelet
A fabulous Vintage Native American turquoise cuff bracelet by renowned Navajo artist Harry Morgan! This fabulous piece is crafted in sterling silver and features one large turquoise stone set across the front of a stacked wirework cuff style bracelet. The gorgeous square shaped center stone is bezel set and surrounded by a twisted rope wirework border featuring delicate beaded accents at the top and bottom. The stunning turquoise displays deep teal hues marbled with reddish brown matrix throughout and flanking the centerpiece is a set of elongated leaf-shaped motifs that reveals a beaded accent in the middle. The leaves display a gorgeous textured pattern that continues along the surface of the center of the stacked wirework bands that graduate slightly towards the back. An opening on the underside allows the bracelet to be easily slipped on and off, and stamped along the inside is a "STERLING" purity mark beside the signature "H.MORGAN" hallmark. This stunning and gorgeous piece looks fabulous when worn and is a must for any Native American jewelry collection!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures approximately 2 1/8" wide and 1 5/8" tall and the cuff opening measures a little less than 1" wide. The front surface of the bracelet measures approximately 1 3/8" at its widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver setting or to the turquoise stone, which is intact and securely set. There is a natural darkened patina on the silver, which is common given the age of the piece and adds a wonderful contrast to the design.
