The snake has been a powerful image since the Victorian era and continues to be popular even in modern jewelry. It has been an inspiration for jewelry design for ages, often used to symbolize eternity, everlasting love, life and protection.

A fabulous snake ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Crafted in 14kt white gold, this fabulous piece portrays a single snake, whose body and tail coils around the finger to form the band. The snake's head and neck curls and bends and the tail forms a single loop, as though slithering up the finger. Lining the front surface are sparkling Single Cut accent diamonds which weigh approximately 0.25ctw combined, catching the light beautifully with every turn. A smoothly polished band wraps around the back, where two stamps are found inside of the shank near the total carat weight "025." A striking piece for any snake lover, it looks fantastic when worn and would make an incredible addition to any collection!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size of a 7.25 but could be re-sized. The ring rests about 1/16" above the finger when worn. The band measures 1.5mm at the back.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting, and all of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
