Late Art Deco 14kt Hand Carved Jade Dangle Earrings
A beautiful pair of carved jade earrings from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, these stunning earrings feature a gorgeous teardrop-shaped jade link which hangs from a complementary topper. The elongated links has a soft, milky green color and a wonderful hand-carved design covers the entire surface. The earrings hang from simple gold wires which attach at the back of a jade cabochon surmount which is framed by an open wirework border. When worn, the earrings dangle with lovely movement and frame the face beautifully. Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 1 3/4" in total length. The jade cabochon toppers, including the wirework frame, measure approximately 1/4" in diameter. The dangling jade stone measures 1/4" in diameter at their widest points.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The carved jade links and cabochons are intact and free of chips or scratches. The earring wires are secure.
