A lovely diamond engagement ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! This beautiful piece features a Round Transitional Cut diamond prong set at the center of an 18kt white gold mounting. The diamond weighs 0.81ct and has J color and I1 clarity. Intricate filigree wirework adorns the shoulders and sides of the setting, complete with shapely cutout detail that create a lacy appearance. The band tapers towards the back and "18K" is stamped along the inside of shank. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified gemologist in March 2020 and has a stated retail replacement value of $3,500.00. The design is simply breathtaking, and the piece would make a magnificent engagement ring for someone special!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6.5, but could easily be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold filigree setting and the diamond is intact.
