Late Art Deco Silver Faceted Rock Crystal Teardrop Earrings
A gorgeous pair of rock crystal earrings from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Each earring is set in silver and features a teardrop rock crystal link dangling at the base. The faceted rock crystal drops hang freely below a complementary crystal surmount, which attaches to a simple earring wire. When worn, the earrings frame the face beautifully and dangle with lovely movement, the facets creating a wonderful light-catching quality. Both classic and versatile, these stunning earrings could be worn day or night and would make a stunning addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 1 5/8" long (including the wire tops). The teardrop links at the base measure 7/8" tall, slightly more than 1/2" wide, and 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver setting, or to any of the rock crystal links. The earring wires are secure and in good condition. There is a natural patina on the surface of the silver setting, which is a normal characteristic of vintage jewelry and could be polished if a brighter look is desired.
