Late Art Deco Sterling/14kt Moonstone + Emerald Link Bracelet
A very unusual and lovely moonstone and emerald bracelet from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Crafted in sterling silver, this stunning piece features an alternating pattern of moonstone cabochons and emerald baguettes which come together to form a straight but flexible design. The large, oval-shaped moonstones graduate in size and display a faint blue color with alluring translucence and a strong flash. Hinged links which each feature two side by side Baguette Cut emeralds alternate with the moonstones, also graduating in size to compliment the design. The soft green color of the emeralds is wonderful paired with the moonstones, and their open back setting allows the light to pass through, accentuating their natural beauty. The bracelet fastens at a 14kt gold hidden push clasp which is seamlessly incorporated into the design and there is a silver safety on the side. A versatile and unique piece, it would look wonderful worn alone or with complementary bracelets!
Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 6 1/4" in length, making it ideal for a woman with a small to average-sized wrist. The moonstones increase in size from slightly more than 1/2" by 5/8" to slightly more than 3/8" by 1/2".
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting and all of the emeralds and moonstones are intact and securely set. The clasp and safety are secure and in good working order. The emeralds display some natural inclusions, which is a normal characteristic of genuine gemstones and adds to their organic beauty.
