Late Victorian 10kt Gold Photo Finish Multi Horse Motif Cufflinks
A wonderful pair of equestrian-inspired cufflinks from the late Victorian (ca1900) era! Crafted in vibrant 10kt yellow gold, each cufflink has an exciting multi horse motif that is raised above the surface. The larger, oval shaped face depicts what appears to be the profiles of three racing horses, running neck in neck. Each animal has wonderful detail including intricate facial features and flowing manes, creating a fabulous realistic design. A curved bar and a hinged puffed oval link rest on the back, completing the design. A fantastic pair of everyday cufflinks, they are perfect for the equestrian enthusiast, and would look fabulous worn by a man or woman!
Measurements: Each larger cufflink face measures approximately 1/2" tall and 3/4" wide and the smaller back measures a little more than 1/2" wide and 3/8" tall. The connecting space in between the front and back measures approximately 5/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the cufflinks is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, hinged back mechanism or to the raised motif.
