A beautiful gemstone ring from the Late Victorian (ca1900) era! This gorgeous piece is crafted in 14k yellow gold and sterling silver and features a beautiful ruby in 4 triple prongs between the sparkling diamonds. Set in the center is a single estimated 1.50ctw oval-cut ruby with a gorgeous pink-red hue. Flanking the sides of the ruby are 2 old European Cut diamonds, weighing approximately 0.50ctw. The diamonds are bezel set in sterling silver and display H/I color and VS-SI. Accenting the stones is intricate scrolling filigree designs in the gallery and along the shoulders of the settings. Completing this design is a simple slightly tapered shank that is smoothly polished. A wonderful piece, this gorgeous Victorian ring would make a stunning addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.75, but could be easily resized if desired. The ring's centerpiece measures 3/10" at its widest and 4/5". The tapered band measures approximately 1.75mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and silver setting. The ruby and diamonds are intact and securely set.
