Late Victorian 14kt Diamond Crescent Pendant 0.85ctw
A stunning diamond crescent pendant from the late Victorian (ca1900) era! Crafted in vibrant 14kt yellow gold, this gorgeous piece takes form in the shape of a single crescent moon that is detailed with eleven old Mine Cut diamonds. The diamonds vary in size and collectively, have a total weight of approximately 0.85ctw, with I-J range color and SI range clarity. The crescent, which was originally worn as a pin, has since been converted to a pendant and hangs from a modern clasped bail which fastens in the back. This celestial piece is positively breathtaking and would look wonderful worn day or night!
Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 1 1/2" long and measures 7/8" wide, and 3/16" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to any of the diamond stones, all of which are intact. The clasped bail is secure and in good working condition.
