Late Victorian 14kt + Diamond Engagement Ring 1.14ct

SKU: 44536

A gorgeous engagement ring from the Late Victorian (ca1900s) era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, this ring adorns a glittering 1.14ct Old European Cut diamond of J color and SI1 clarity within a six-pronged setting. The ring's basket is ornate, featuring delicate ovals and a beaded pattern in the gallery. The ring's band is engraved with a lovely wheat pattern and the band tapers slightly in the back. The inside of the shank is stamped "D&F 14K". The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Graduate Gemologist in July of 2021, and has a stated retail replacement value of $10,000.00. This piece delivers an incredible sparkle and would make for an exquisite engagement ring!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7 3/4 but could easily be resized. When worn, the centerpiece rests 9/32" above the finger. The band measures 0.75mm in the back.

Condition: The ring is overall in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold setting. The diamond is intact and securely set.
