An absolutely stunning "Moi et Toi" ("Me and You") style ring from the late Victorian (ca1900s) era! Crafted in 18kt yellow gold, this gorgeous piece features two generously sized old Rose Cut diamonds which sparkle within closed, foil-backed settings. Collectively, the diamonds have a total approximate weight of 2.50ctw, and exhibit H-I range color and VS2-SI1 range clarity. Their facets are beautifully cut, each one visibly reflecting the light with incredible depth. The bezel settings feature eight faux prongs and a lovely triangular wirework pattern lines the base of each basket. A smoothly polished band completes the unique look. This ring would be a magnificent addition to any Victorian collection or could make for a very unique engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring fits a finger size of 8 but could easily be resized. The "Moi et Toi" design measures an overall 5/8" wide and 5/8" long. The diamonds' diameters range from approximately 5/16" to 3/8" at various points within the same stone, as Rose Cut diamonds are typically cut with asymmetrical elements. When worn, the ring rests 1/3" above the finger. The band measures approximately 1.5mm wide.
Condition: The ring is in overall excellent antique condition. There are two very minor scratches to the gold band, but this is not visible when worn nor does it negatively impact the beauty or integrity of the piece. Both of the diamonds are intact, free of chips and securely set.
