Late Victorian Gunmetal Rock Crystal Diamond Cufflink Set w/ Box
A beautiful rock quartz crystal cufflink set from the Late Victorian (ca1900) era! This stylish 4-piece set includes a pair of double-sided cufflinks and two matching buttons. Each cufflink is comprised of two rock crystal discs, which have a frosted appearance and are separated by a gunmetal chain. Resting at the center is a delicate diamond, a perfect sparkling accent. Both of the buttons have a matching rock crystal design in a smaller size, also with a gunmetal back. The 4-piece set comes in the original velvet lined box with a snap closure. A wonderful vintage cufflink set, the design is simple and classic, and would look fantastic worn by a distinguished gentleman!
Measurements: The face of each cufflink has a 1/2" diameter. The strand of chain in between each disc measures approximately 3/4" long. The rock crystal disc of each button has a 1/4" diameter, and the gunmetal back has a 1/2" diameter.
Condition: The overall condition of the cufflink and button set is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the rock quartz crystal plaques or diamonds, which are intact. The gunmetal findings are secure and in good condition. The box shows normal signs of wear commensurate with age. The hinged lid and snap clasp fasten securely.
