A wonderful enameled watch pendant from the Art Deco (ca1920) era by LECOULTRE! This beautiful watch pendant is made of 18k yellow gold and is octagonal in shape. One side displays a small round watch face in the center, surrounded by a gorgeous blue and white enameled border. The opposing side of the piece serves as an attractive pendant, with a black, white, and blue enameled design, accented by yellow gold along the edges. The enameled side also boasts a gorgeous white gold filigree single-cut diamond and french-cut sapphire accented applique that features a .10ctw old mine cut diamond at the center. The crown of the watch is also accented with a cabochon sapphire, a true sign of quality. The piece hangs from a simple gold bail with added jump ring. The movement and the interior encasing have several markings including "18K", "A. LECOULTRE", "SWISS", "17 JEWEL", and "17948". The bold enamel colors and signature Art Deco elements give this piece a wonderful look! Measurements: The length of the piece from bail to crown is approximately 1", with a width of 7/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent, as is. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and no chips in the enamel. All of the diamonds and sapphires are secure in their settings. The bail is intact, and the crystal watch face shows very few scratches. This watch is NOT in working order.
