Marsh & Company opened in the San Francisco area in 1876. Originally selling Asian art, the company soon branched out into jewelry. From the late 1940’s to the early 1960’s the company became well known for its use of oxidized steel in making their unique pieces of jewelry!

A fabulous vintage Marsh & Company gold and steel link bracelet from the 1950’s! This gorgeous bracelet is crafted in vibrant 18kt yellow gold, and comprised of 5 flower-shaped links that alternate with 5 square links. All 10 links are topped in oxidized steel and hold an 18kt yellow gold ball at the center, which alternate in size, providing a wonderful visual effect. The underside of the bracelet is yellow gold and reveals a wonderful engraved designed of a floral motif. The black oxidized steel looks gorgeous paired with the gold, and the bracelet is fastens with a push clasp at the end. This unusual piece would look beautiful worn by itself or grouped with other complimentary bracelets.

Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 7" long, 1/2" at its widest point and 3/8” at its thickest point. Each flower-shaped link measures slightly less than 3/4" long and 1/2" wide. Each square link measures slightly less than 1/2" long and wide.

Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or steel setting. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
