OSCAR HEYMAN Vintage Platinum Diamond + Sapphire Interlocking Link Ring
This beautiful vintage ring from the 1960s is a designer piece signed by reknowned maker Oscar Heyman! Crafted in platinum, this piece is comprised of two elongated interlocking links, one encrusted with diamonds and the other adorned with sapphires. The sparkling round diamonds graduate towards the center and display an incredible light catching array at every turn. The calibrated sapphires showcase a luscious deep blue hue in their open back setting, a wonderful color contrast with the platinum and diamonds. Completing the design is a smoothly polished ridged band that graduates slightly towards the back. The inside of the shank is stamped with several marks, including the authentic Oscar Heyman "OH" hallmark, next to a serial number "9371" and a faded stamp "IRID PLAT." A very stylish gemstone ring, it would be equally beautiful as a stand-alone piece, or stacked with other rings for a layered look!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7, but could be re-sized. The interlocking link design measures approximately 3/4" wide, and a little more than 1/4" tall at the center. The tapered band measures 3mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the stones, all of which are secure and intact.
