Retro 14kt Gold Alternating Ruby Diamond Ring
A beautiful gemstone ring from the early Retro (ca1930s) era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, this fabulous piece features two vibrant rows of luscious rubies, which alternate with sparkling old Mine Cut diamonds. The rubies and diamonds are set within a rectangular centerpiece which curves beautifully around the finger. The prong set stones are consistent in size, weighing approximately 0.10ct each, and scalloped wirework can be seen from the sides. In total, there are five rubies (0.50ctw) and five diamonds (0.50ctw) which all come together to create a vibrant checkerboard-like motif. A smooth gold tapered band completes the bold design of the ring perfectly. This gorgeous gemstone ring would make a stunning addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7.5, but could easily be resized. The rectangular centerpiece measures approximately 1/4" tall and 5/8" wide and the tapered band measures 2mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and all of the stones are intact.
