Retro 14kt/Platinum Diamond + Pearl Crown Bangle Bracelet
An absolutely fabulous bangle bracelet from the early Retro (ca1935) period! Crafted in vibrant 14kt yellow gold, this regal looking bracelet is particularly wide, featuring a textured ridged surface that carries around the entire outer surface. Attached at the center of the bangle is a gorgeous platinum crown accented by pearls and diamonds. Shimmery white pearls portray the seven points of the crown, and an elaborate diamond-encrusted design forms the base. The crown was originally a pin from the Edwardian era, and has since been paired with this fashionable bracelet to create one spectacular piece! The bracelet is hinged and opens at the side with a simple push clasp stamped "14K" on the tongue and a safety latch on the top snaps into place to provide added security. A classic and very fashionable piece, it would make a bold statement worn alone or stacked with a group of complimentary bracelets!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures 2 1/8" wide and approximately 2" tall. The surface is approximately 1 1/8" wide on the front and 1" on the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage or dings to the gold setting, and the push clasp and safety latch are both secure and in good working condition. The platinum crown is in excellent condition and all of the pearls and diamonds intact.
