Retro 14kt Platinum Diamond & Pearl Crown Bracelet
An absolutely fabulous bangle bracelet from the early Retro (ca1935) period! Made of vibrant 14kt yellow gold, this regal looking bracelet is fairly wide, with a textured surface comprised of a vertical ridged design that carries around the entire outer surface. Set in the center of the bracelet is a gorgeous pearl and diamond crown made of platinum. Shimmery white natural pearls decorate the seven points of the crown, and an elaborate diamond-encrusted design forms the base. The crown was originally a pin from the Edwardian era, which has now been added to this fashionable bracelet to create a spectacular piece! The bracelet is hinged and opens at the side with a simple push clasp stamped "14K" on the tongue. A safety hook on the top snaps into place to provide added security. A classic and very fashionable piece, it would make a bold statement worn alone or stacked with a group of similar bracelets!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures 2 1/8" wide and approximately 2" tall. The surface is approximately 1 1/8" wide on the front and 1" on the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage or dings to the gold setting, and the push clasp and safety hook are both secure and in good working condition. The platinum crown is in good condition, with all pearls and diamonds intact.
