Retro 18kt Mixed Metals Diamond Earrings

Fabulous and fun earrings from the Retro (ca1940) era! Each of these fantastic earrings are made of 18kt yellow gold and have a strong Retro look. The color of the gold is a rosy yellow color which was common for the Retro period. The earrings depict a curved, fan-like outer edge which curls around a ball center. A folded cutout scroll rests at the top and 2 triangular bars dangle from the bottom. Resting in the center of the ball is a white gold star shape that adorns a single sparkling diamond. On the back of each earring is a hinged clip (stamped with an "18K"), allowing the earrings to be worn on pierced or unpierced ears. However, if desired, the hinged clip backs could be removed and converted to posts. They're fabulously Retro and would make a great addition to any collection!

Measurements: The earrings hang a little less than 2" long, are 3/4" at the widest point and have a depth of 1/8".

Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the gold and all of the stones are intact. The earrings rest securely on the ear and the clips are in good working condition.
