An incredible link bracelet from the Retro (ca1940s) era! Crafted in vibrant 18kt yellow gold, this bracelet displays a fabulous pattern of curved geometric links to create a straight-yet-flexible design. The bracelet has a very unique waved pattern between sets of gemstone adornment. Four Rectangular Cut citrine stones form the illusion of an even larger rectangular gem, exuding a luxurious golden orange color. The stones are secured within a shared bezel with a golden ball in the center. Four Rectangular Cut rich green tourmaline stones rest side by side in a channel setting to create a contoured bridge. A push clasp is found within one of the green tourmaline links, its tongue stamped "18K". There are small loops on the side of the bracelet to which a safety chain can be added, or they may be removed in favor of a figure-8 clasp upon request. This one-of-a-kind bracelet exemplifies the most fabulous aspects of the Retro era and would be a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 7" in length. It is slightly more than 5/8" at its widest points and is about 5/16" at its deepest points.
Condition: The bracelet is in very good antique condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. Two of the tourmaline stones display chips, but the stones are otherwise intact. The chips are not noticeable when the bracelet is worn and do not detract from its overall beauty. All of the citrine stones are intact and securely set. The push clasp is secure and in good working condition.
