Retro Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 2.13ct center
A gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the Retro (ca1940) era! Crafted in platinum, this beautiful piece holds a stunning 2.13ct old European Cut diamond at the center. The prong set stone exhibits J color and VS2 clarity, sparkling brilliantly in the light with every turn. A trio of Single Cut accent diamonds line the shoulders of the band, weighing approximately 0.12ctw combined, providing the perfect compliment to the center stone. Completing the design is a smoothly polished knife-edge style band that wraps around the back, and stamped inside of the shank is a romantic engraved inscription "F.C.S to C.L.H 1-1-40" besides a "10% IRID PLAT" platinum purity mark. The ring is accompanied by an appraisal from an independent and accredited GIA-certified Graduate Gemologist. When worn, this classic Retro era diamond engagement ring is positively radiant, and delivers a spectacular sparkle!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6, but could easily be resized up or down if desired. The center stone rests approximately 1/4" above the finger when worn. The tapered band measures 2mm wide at the shoulders, and 1mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamonds, all of which are intact and securely set.
