A beautiful opal and diamond ring from the Retro (ca1940) era! This gorgeous piece is crafted in platinum and displays a duo of trapeze-shaped fire opal cabochons at the center surrounded by assorted round and emerald cut diamonds. The fire opals display a stunning range of iridescent oranges, greens, reds, and golds, which flash and shimmer when caught in the light. The opals combined weigh approximately 1.40ctw. Flanking the opals are channels of small emerald cut diamonds on either shoulder, which are accompanied by bead-set round diamonds on either side of the emerald cuts. Completing the design is a smoothly polished band that tapers to the back. A lovely and unique ring, it would look equally beautiful worn alone or stacked with other complimentary bands!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 5.5, but could easily be re-sized if desired. The opal and diamond centerpiece measures approximately 1/2" wide east to west, and about 3/8" long north to south. The ring rests a little more than 1/4" above the finger when worn.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. The opals and diamonds are intact and securely set.
