TIFFANY & Co. Edwardian 14kt/Platinum Diamond Heart Pin/Pendant 2.50ctw
An outstanding Tiffany & Co. diamond heart pin/pendant from the Edwardian era (ca1910)! This convex "puffy" heart has a lacy floral motif, which was a common aesthetic during the Edwardian period. The surface of the piece is encrusted with approximately 2.50ctw of sparkling old European brilliant cut diamonds, which have estimated H-I range color VS2-SI1 clarity range. The stones are both bezel and bead set, and rest within a platinum-topped 14kt gold setting. The diamond heart is set in a removable 14kt yellow gold casing, which makes it simple to easily remove the pin clasp and simply wear it as a magnificent pendant. On the back of the heart is the authentic "TIFFANY & CO." maker's hallmark. This impressive piece is simply exquisite in person, and would delight any antique jewelry collector!
Measurements: The pin/pendant measures approximately 1 1/4" tall, a little more than 1 1/4" at the widest point and 1/4" deep.
Condition: The overall condition of the pin/pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum topped gold setting. All of the diamonds are intact. The pin clasp and casing are secure and in good working condition.
