This moonstone necklace is quite a stunning piece from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! The necklace is comprised of beautiful moonstone beads, which are graduated and smoothly polished. The moonstone beads display a wonderful adularescent quality, which comes alive with iridescent flashes of vibrant blues and whites. The beads are strung on hand-knotted wire wrapped thread, meeting at a 10kt gold spring ring clasp in the back. A stylish and versatile piece, it would compliment any sense of fashion and make a perfect everyday accessory!
Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 15 1/2" long. The beads graduate in size, with the smallest bead measuring 5.5mm in size, and the largest bead measuring 7.5mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the moonstone beads, all of which are intact. The stringing is secure, and the gold clasp is in good working order.
