The locket opens at the side to reveal a hinged glass protecting the back of the ceramic cherub, ready to hold a new photograph of a loved one. Also on the inside is the engraved numbers "42" twice and "44" as well as inscribed lettering, possibly identifying the original maker or owner. This elegant piece would be a beautiful addition to any collection.
