Victorian 12kt Gold Filled Turquoise Starburst Motif Hinged Bangle Bracelet
A beautiful turquoise bracelet from the late Victorian (ca1900) period! Crafted in 12kt yellow gold fill, this gorgeous piece adorns 5 turquoise cabochons across the front, each set within a lovely etched starburst design. The delicate stones exhibit lovely dark sea foam green hues, which pair perfectly against the gold setting. The bangle is hinged and clasps on the side, and stamped along the inside safety latch is "H/A 1/20 12K". A stylish and versatile piece that blends seamlessly into modern day fashion, it would look fabulous worn alone or stacked with a group of similar bracelets!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures approximately 2 1/8" in diameter and would fit nicely on an average to medium sized wrist. The surface measures a little less than 3/8" wide and is about 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is great. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the gold fill setting, except for a very small indent on the front edge, and a small scratch near clasp; neither are significant nor noticeable when worn. Additionally, it looks like one of the turquoise stones may have been replaced with an agate or something similar in color; the stone is an excellent match in size and color and not noticeable unless under close examination. All of the stones are intact and securely set and the push clasp and safety latch are secure and in good working condition.
