Victorian 14k Gold + Turquoise Buckle Ring

SKU: 44962

A gorgeous gold and turquoise buckle ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This Maltese cross etched band is made of 14k yellow gold and has a 3-dimensional appearance, designed to look like a buckle. The band features two small turquoise cabochons next to the crescent moon-shaped buckle. The relief of the band has developed a patina over time that only highlights the turquoise stones and brightens up the rich golden hues. Inside the band, there is a series of very worn hallmarks, the most legible of which being the sideways anchor for the Birmingham, England assay office. This simply stunning ring would make a wonderful addition to any collection!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7.75, but could be easily re-sized. The band is 1/4" wide.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and both turquoise stones are secure in their settings.
